Storytelling has been a lifelong passion of mine. As I peered into the world of crafting stories and films it quickly occurred to me that the infinitely complex and critical writing of the story is only as good as it can be translated to the screen. Storytelling is everything - so I love creating boards and designing sequences. While I was in school at Otis I had the opportunity to design and board an indie, Cowboy, the film is currently in production.

This is a scene where the protagonist, Mojo, is bummed out and his friend Telean is going to try to cheer him up with a little magic.
Storyboards from live action film, Cowboy.
These are some sequences leading us towards the climax of the film. There is an underground rodeo where our main character Juno (marked with yellow) is placing a somewhat dispicable bet. I employed the use of crowds and movement to add emotional intensity.
